WHICH DATA IS PROCESSED?

The data processed is limited to what is essential for identification (name, surname, email address, etc.) and what is necessary to enable the proper execution of any ongoing professional and contractual relationship or the service requested through the company website or another platform.

The data may be collected directly from the individuals concerned, by phone, fax, email, or via the company website, and stored at our headquarters.

The data is partially collected and recorded on paper and partially in digital form, for the explicit and legitimate purposes outlined below:

Purposes related to compliance with legal obligations, as provided by laws, decrees, regulations, and/or other equivalent acts, as well as by European Union regulations;

Purposes related to the management of relationships with customers, suppliers, banks, etc. (e.g., monitoring the status of relationships with customers and collaborators, providing technical information and assistance).

Accessing the website enables the identification of the user’s IP address, which is stored within the terms and for the purposes established by law in the access logs.

PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA

The provision of the requested personal data for purpose no. 1 (obligations deriving from Italian and EU law) is mandatory, and refusal to provide such data will make it impossible to establish relations with Citypharm S.r.l.

The provision of personal data for purpose no. 2 (performance of regular operational management) is not mandatory, but refusal to provide such data may result in the inability to carry out one or more agreed-upon services or the inability to establish new contractual relationships.

In the context of administrative, accounting, and tax-related activities, it may occasionally be necessary to disclose some of the processed data (e.g., to banks, external consultants, public offices).

A nominative list of such entities can be obtained at Citypharm’s headquarters.

Citypharm S.r.l. commits not to disclose or share any information concerning you for commercial purposes and not to sell, share, or transfer its databases, always in compliance with the rules and exceptions provided by law (e.g., Judicial Authorities).

The data acquired by Citypharm is not disclosed except to Authorities recognized by law, solely for the purpose of fulfilling obligations arising from legal provisions, such as, but not limited to, periodic fiscal communications.

No data resulting from the web service will be communicated or disclosed.

The personal data voluntarily provided by users via email or by filling out specific forms is used solely for the purpose of performing the requested service or task and is disclosed to third parties only when strictly necessary for this purpose.

The data retention periods are generally established as follows:

– Those required by law for purpose no. 1, typically corresponding to a period of no less than 10 years (for tax retention purposes);

– 36 (thirty-six) months from the termination of the service provision contract and/or the sale of goods for those related to purpose no. 2, unless otherwise regulated by specific legal obligations.

The data processing does NOT involve any automated decision-making processes and/or user profiling activities.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE DATA?

In relation to the processing of personal data pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and Articles 11, 12, 15, 17, 18, and 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – EU Regulation 2016/679, you have the right to:

Cookie Law

This page provides the main information regarding the cookie law and explains to the user the request for authorization to accept the use of cookies.

This website uses technical cookies to ensure the proper functioning of procedures and improve the user experience of online applications.

This document provides information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, how they are used by the website, and how to manage them.

DEFINITIONS

Cookies are small text files that websites visited by users send to their devices, where they are stored to be sent back to the same websites during subsequent visits.

“Third-party” cookies, on the other hand, are set by a website other than the one the user is currently visiting. This happens because each website may contain elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers different from those of the visited website.

TYPES OF COOKIES

Based on the characteristics and use of cookies, different categories can be identified:

– Technical cookies. Technical cookies are those used solely to “carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service” (see Art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). They are not used for additional purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator.

They can be divided into:

Navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website;

Analytics cookies, which are considered technical cookies when used directly by the website operator to collect information, in aggregate form, about the number of users and how they visit the website;

Functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate based on a set of selected criteria in order to improve the service provided to them.

Prior consent from users is not required for the installation of these cookies, although it remains necessary to provide information in accordance with Article 13 of the Code. The site operator, when using only these types of cookies, may provide this information using the methods deemed most appropriate.

Profiling cookies. Profiling cookies are used to create user profiles and are employed to send advertising messages aligned with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web. Due to the particular intrusiveness that such devices may have on users’ private lives, European and Italian regulations require that users be adequately informed about their use and thus provide valid consent.

Article 122 of the Code refers to these cookies, stating that “the storage of information in the terminal equipment of a contracting party or user or access to information already stored is permitted only on condition that the contracting party or user has given their consent after being informed using the simplified methods mentioned in Article 13, paragraph 3” (Art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).

This website does not use profiling cookies.

– “Third-party” cookies  When visiting this website, you may receive cookies from websites managed by other organizations (“third parties”). An example is the presence of “social plugins” for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or LinkedIn, or embedded multimedia content systems such as YouTube or Flickr. These are parts generated directly by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the web page of the host site being visited.

The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by their respective privacy policies, which you are encouraged to consult.

COOKIE ANALYTICS

WebTrends
For the sole purpose of monitoring and improving the website’s performance, a market analytics product is used to track site access. This tool may use cookies, both persistent and non-persistent, to collect statistical information and data about the website’s “unique visitors.” These cookies, defined as “Unique Visitor Cookies,” contain an alphanumeric code that identifies browsing devices but do not collect any personal data.

Google Analytics
The site also includes components provided by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service offered by Google, Inc. (“Google”). These cookies are used solely to monitor and improve the site’s performance. For more information, please refer to the link provided below.:

The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out browser add-on provided by Google. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the link provided below:

COOKIE DURATION

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or until a logout command is executed. Other cookies “survive” the closing of the browser and are available during subsequent visits by the user. These cookies are called persistent cookies, and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases, an expiration date is set, while in other cases, their duration is unlimited.

COOKIE MANAGEMENT

The user can decide whether to accept cookies or not by adjusting their browser settings.

Note: Disabling technical cookies entirely or partially may compromise the optimal use of the website.

Disabling “third-party” cookies does not affect website navigation in any way.

Settings can be customized for different websites and web applications. Additionally, browsers allow users to set different preferences for “first-party” and “third-party” cookies. For example, in Firefox, through the menu Tools->Options->Privacy, it is possible to access a control panel where you can choose whether to accept different types of cookies and delete them.
